If you are a user of ADS, whether you are a customer, partner or an employee of Agilent, your contributions are welcome. The intention of the site is that ADS users show their use of ADS so that all can benefit.
The deadline to submit abstracts or papers is the 15th of the month for posting the following month. I am seeking papers that show the use of ADS in an interesting, challenging or novel application. Submissions from end-users, designers, application engineers or multi-company teams, e.g. foundry & customer or module supplier & system integrator, are encouraged.
Benefits of submission include visibility of your company and your personal achievements to the ADS user community including the 50,000+ subscribers of the Agilent EEsof EDA application email newsletter and the 30,000+ monthly visitors to the Agilent EEsof EDA web site and the members of the ADS sites on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
Agilent holds EEsof and ADS Users Group Meetings (UGMs) in many countries around the world. If you have presented at one of the UGMs in the past or will be presenting in an upcoming UGM, send me a note. I’m in the process of going through some of the recent UGMs and will post some of the papers. To make sure I get to yours sooner, send me an email, and I work on getting it up as soon as possible. Even if your paper is not in English, I’m still happy to post it.
If you’d like to share a paper you’ve authored, I ask that you follow the guidelines below…
- Describe “The Challenge” – why is this different, interesting, innovative or challenging. Include the design objective. Include technical and business challenges if possible.
- Describe “The Solution” – What did you do to address the challenge?
- Describe “The Results” – Performance of the design, measured vs. simulated results, pictures of the fabricated device.
- Describe “The Benefits” – Summarize the benefit of your solution compared to the before state (e.g. saving time, money or space; simplified flow, etc.).
- Be the owner/author of the content & send me your paper, presentation, article via email and include a statement that give me permission to post it to this site. At some point I’ll have a form for you to complete and return, but for now, giving me an email “OK” is sufficient.
- Abstracts or Papers previously published are acceptable. I’ll help you obtain permission from publisher, IEEE or conference.
If a PowerPoint presentation …
- Provide a single slide on your company, background info & products
- Use Images, Graphics, Photos & Screen shots. Keep text on the slides to a minimum.
- Supplement the visual slides with detailed text in the speakers notes of the slides. If this is difficult, just record your verbal presentation of the material and I can have it transcribed into text for you at no cost.
